Pair of Brutalist style brass wall lights by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen in the 1960s – beautiful mid century pieces in excellent vintage condition
TYPE 5218 pair of Brutalist style brass wall lamps by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen, 1960s – beautiful mid century pieces in excellent vintage condition.
A pair of brass sconces with all the iconic Holm Sørensen signs – made in flame treated brass with serrated edges and as always with a wondrous rainbow specter of colors. In this pair the brass is shaped like a sunflower with a curved brass rod in front, which ends in a bulb socket.
When lit, the brass plate reflects the emitted light and creates an almost dramatic effect on the wall due to the serrated edges, leaving a truly beautiful light-pattern in the evening, and is a dazzling sculptural light in the daytime.
Vintage Holm Sorensen pieces that would look amazing hanging on an end-wall in a long hall way, framing a doorway or a large mirror, or perhaps accenting your favorite area with its intriguing Brutalist style. Both sconces are in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of usage and age. Please see the photos!
