TRIO GLASS FIXTURE
1960s Scandinavian hanging lamps with crossbar and brass tops by unknown producer, all in very good vintage condition
TRIO GLASS fixture with teak crossbar, 1960s Scandinavian hanging lamps with crossbar and brass tops, all in very good vintage condition.
A mid-century light fixture comprised of three cylindrical glass shades with cone-shaped brass tops and a charming teak crossbar. Each glass shade has a light amber color, almost grayish/yellowish, and features a embossed ribbed ornamentation along the sides, whereas the top and bottom part is kept clear of ornamentation. The teak crossbar is made up of two teak pieces put together, almost like a puppeteer’s stick, which add lots of charm to the fixture.
When lit, the light amber colored glass gives warmth to the ambiance, while the ribbed pattern scatters the light. The open bottoms gives way for plenty of light downwards, making it perfect for lighting up a staircase in a smaller hallway or in the living room adding a warm 1960s feel.
All original parts, but rewired with 2 m (6′ 7″) high end quality, white fabric cord – for safety and beauty. Tested and fully functional. A plastic hook which all three cords go through (seen in photo 7) is included, but not a canopy! Cleaned, labeled and packed in protective bag.
