Scandinavian modern ceramic table lamp with shade included by Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen & Son in the 1960s
No. 6341 – TABLE LAMP by Marianne Starck in the 1960s for Michael Andersen & Søn – Scandinavian modern deep blue and brown table lamp with pleated white plastic shade included.
A charming ceramic table light with a round base and tall narrowing neck. The neck and base is covered with a smooth glossy deep blue glaze, except for unglazed indentations on the base, revealing the dark earthy brown clay with a rough surface.
The pleated shade is not original to the lamp stand, but complements the color palette of the lamp stand, and gives this table lamp a stylish expression. It would fit in everywhere in the modern home – on a lamp table in a corner of a sitting area or even as cozy bedside lamp.
Underneath marked 6341, hallmarked with the stamp of Michael Andersen & Søn (three fish inside a triangle). It still carries the sticker with Michael Andersen & Søn logo on the neck near the top and a label on the bottom.
All original including 1,5 m (4′ 11.1″) white plastic cord fitted with Euro-style two-pin plug – which can be fitted with a plug adapter, or is easily changed to your specific plug. Original on/off switch on the bulb socket.
Tested and fully functional. Cleaned, labeled and packed in protective bag.
