GLASS and ROSEWOOD
Pressed glass hanging lamp with brass and rosewood top from the 1960s – in very good vintage condition
GLASS with ROSEWOOD pendant light from the 1960s. Beautiful Scandinavian lamp with pressed glass, brass and rosewood, in very good vintage condition.
An attractive piece, comprised of a thick and heavy pressed glass bottom shade, a brass lacquered piece onto which the glass shade is screwed, and finally a curvy rosewood piece as top. The champagne glass shade has a pattern of large facets to give optimal scattering of the light.
When lit, the glass shade spreads the light in every direction, while the brass lacquered top acts as a lit, and ensures that the emitted light is guided towards the sides and downwards.
Charming and very 1960s – a perfect match for a smaller Mid century dining table or sitting area. It would also look amazing in kitchen, in a hallway or even the bedroom – the possibilities are endless with this beauty.
All original, but rewired with 2 m (6′ 6.7″) high end quality, white fabric cord – for safety and beauty. Tested and fully functional. Cleaned, labeled and packed in protective plastic cover.
