Copper light by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Morup in 1963. Danish mid century copper lamp in good vintage condition
NOVA, copper pendant light by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in 1963 – attractive vintage polished copper hanging lamp in good vintage condition.
The NOVA is a round pendant light, comprised of four polished copper shades encompassing each other. Inside it features a warm orange inner coating, except towards the top, where it is white, and the smallest of the shades, which is coated with a dark gray anti-glare band. The orange inner coating ensures a warm reflection of light, while the dark gray anti-glare band softens the downward directed light.
When lit, it provides a soft and glare-free downwards, making it perfect for low hanging, as the shiny copper captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space – a true beauty.
All original, but rewired with 2 m (6′ 6.7″) high end quality, black fabric cord – for safety and beauty. Tested and fully functional. Polished, cleaned, labeled and packed in protective plastic cover.
