Green table lamp by Einar Johansen for Soholm in the 1960s. Beautiful green ceramic table light with red textile shade included, all in excellent vintage condition
NO. 1039 Green table lamp by Einar Johansen for Soholm, Denmark – 1960s green ceramic table light with unused red shade included.
A beautiful ceramic table lamp with round body and a narrowing neck, all covered with a glossy bright green glaze. The body features a linear pattern, resembling a square-within-squares-like pattern, emphasized by the thicker layer of glaze which make the lines appear almost black.
The shade, shown in the photos, is not original to the lamp-stand, but the matte bright red color complements the glossy bright green of the lamp-stand, making the beautiful green color pop. With its colorful expression, it would be a beautiful piece on a small lamp table in a corner of a sitting area or as a playful bedside lamp.
All original including 1,4 m (4′ 7.1″) white plastic cord and fitted with on/off switch placed at convenient height at the cord and Euro style plug, which is easily changed to your specific plug. Tested and fully functional.
Cleaned, labeled and packed in protective bag.
