Detailed information

PAIR of ACCENT CHAIRS – stylish pair of 1950s accent chairs by unknown producer – beautiful set of mid century Danish chairs in teal green and dusty red.

A pair of slipper chairs with woven fabric upholstery and tapered black lacquered legs with metal feet. The curved backrest, which is also slightly tilted backward, ensures perfect support as it slopes into about one third of the seat. Underneath the seat, four tapered black legs feature small metal feet to ensure a stable position, while seated.

These chairs oozes early Mid Century design with reference to the early 1930s Art deco style – imagine them as gorgeous accent chairs in a large hallway or living room, or perhaps as slipper chairs in the bedroom. The teal green and dusty red colored upholstery combined with the shape and the tapered black legs really make these chairs stand out, making them attract attention not matter where you would place them.

Both chairs feature green and red upholstery, placed on a wooden framing with flat metal springs and padding (both on the seat and backrest). The tapered legs with metal feet are original. The fabric upholstery has some minor signs of wear (darken or brighter areas), no damage – but considering their age, and the fact that they have been loved (used) by the previous owner, I would classify them to be in very good vintage condition with few normal signs of usage and age. Please check the photos!

Cleaned and packed in protective materials.
