Scandinavian Modern black wrought iron wall sculpture by DANTOFT Kunstartikler in the 1960s – in very good vintage condition
WALL RELIEF by Dantoft Kunstartikler, Denmark circa 1960s. Unique artisan work in wrought iron with glass pieces in purple and orange in very good vintage condition.
Wondrous collage of imagination and geometric shapes – materialized in black, welded wrought iron. It features overlaying bars, angles and circles, ending in an arrow-like shape. Some of the overlaid bars and circles are covered by round and square shaped glass pieces in purple and orange, all with polished surface. The combination of color and geometric shapes are sure to catch positive attention from your guests!
The wall sculpture was made by Dantoft, a company that had their heyday in the 1960s and 1970s. Dantoft designed wall sculptures in many different forms and shapes, some as candle holders where the bottom has a shallow bowl for a candle holder. One theme connected all the wall sculptures; carefully arranged glass pieces – so light would be reflected in the many colorful glass pieces.
