Gorgeous vase with Persia glaze by Michael Andersen & Son in the 1930s – in very good vintage condition
PERSIA VASE P17 by Michael Andersen & Son in the 1930s – Danish Mid century vase with Persia glaze in turquoise, red and gray tones in very good vintage condition.
Stunning vase made in ceramics with a voluptuous shaped body, narrowing into a neck to end with a rounded collar and a charming sprout. On the side it features a curved handle, making it mimic a pitcher. It is covered with a beautiful Persia glazing in gray and turquoise going on aged-copper-green nuances in an almost pixilated pattern, revealing a dusty rose underneath.
A beautiful vase that easily fits any modern decor with its non-intrusive yet intriguing color combination. It would look amazing on a Mid century modern credenza or on a shelf – with or without flowers in – the choice is yours.
Hallmarked with the stamp of Michael Andersen & Søn and numbered P17.
