About the design

This lamp stand is produced at Laoni Belysning sometime in the 1970s, by unspecified designer.

It features a square shaped brass base and a rectangular shaped teak neck ending in a small brass top. The Hollywood Regency inspired brass base contrasting the Mid Century Modern teak neck gives this table lamp a personality of its own. Hallmarked Laoni underneath the base with label sticker and numbered 539.

The shade shown on the photos is not original to the lamp stand.
