About the design
Type 7163, brass sconce for candlesticks, designed by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen in the 1960s.
It is a brass sconce with all the typical Holm Sørensen signs – made in flame treated brass with serrated edges and as always with a wondrous rainbow specter of colors. This sconces is comprised of a thin brass plate attached in front of a thin brass rod. The brass rod ends in a candlestick holder (suitable for normal sized candles with a diameter 0.9″ / 2,2 cm).
The brass plate reflects the flickering lights of the candle accenting the warm color of the flame treated brass. The flower shape creates a beautiful pattern to the surroundings. As a bonus feature, the brass plate are height adjustable so you are able to change the reflection in the brass to your pleasing – and to match the length of the candle.
