About the design

This piece is a teak tray with 6 glass bowls produced by Digsmed in the 1960s.

It is rectangular shaped with curved sides and softly rounded rims. Unlike most of teak trays, this one features two sets of three glass bowls, placed in carved rooms in the middle of the tray, making it perfect for a buffet table or dining table – a variety of snacks, cheeses or dip sauces in the glass bowls without taking to much space on the table.

Hallmarked underneath with the Digsmed logo, and the glass bowls are unmarked, but we known that Digsmed collaborated with Holmegaard in producing the glass parts.
