About the design
A ceramic wall relief by Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen & Son in the 1960s.
It is a rectangular stoneware relief with three charming birds sitting in an abstract blooming tree, all covered with glossy bright orange and red glaze. The background is kept unglazed, making the vivid raised decoration pop even more. The back is marked with the Michael Andersen logo (an impressed shield with three fish), the initials MS for Marianne Starck and numbered 6416.
This WALL RELIEF would be a beautiful addition to any home – whether you would choose to hang it in hallway or in the living room to add a burst of color.
