Copper pendant by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Morup in 1963. Attractive vintage copper hanging light
ORIENT MAJOR pendant, designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in 1963 – very attractive copper hanging lamp – vintage edition!
A medium to large sized (15″/ 38 cm wide) teardrop-shaped pendant in solid copper with white inner coating for optimal reflection of the light. The top is made of teak and the bottom holds a new plastic diffuser to soften the light emission.
The beautiful ORIENT MAJOR pendant is characterized by the soft – almost hypnotizing, lines. The form in conjunction with the warm copper and teak on the top, make the possibilities of application numerous.
An absolute beautiful piece – that would fit in and brighten up – almost anywhere in the modern home!
The ORIENT were produced by Fog & Mørup in two sizes – ORIENT MINOR with a diameter of 8.9″ (22,5 cm) and ORIENT MAJOR with a diameter of 15″ (38 cm). Today it is pretty rare to find a good condition piece of either size.
