About the design
Scandinavian design and excellent craftsmanship oozes from the Kastor – made up by 8 half shell shaped shades which are placed to slightly overlap each other to obtain a glare-free light. All the shades have a colored inner coating.
When the lamp is lit, it creates a beautiful star-shaped pattern on the ceiling above it and the ambiance is colored in warm tones.
Originally the Kastor was produced in two variations, one in brass with a yellow inner and one in copper with an orange inner – just like many of Jo Hammerborgs classic lights.
