About the design
COMBI pendant by Per Iversen for Louis Poulsen from the 1960s.
The COMBI pendant is a medium sized beautiful bright orange hanging light, made up by a orange powder coated aluminum shade resting on a white translucent plastic plate. The plastic plate holds the bulb mount, and acts as a diffuser for a soft up-light emittance as well.
This beautiful and brightly colored lamp gives off a good working light, and would be ideal for this or as good illumination over a smaller dinning table, or any of many other applications, where you need a bold color and a more than solid lighting effect.
The COMBI pendant was originally produced in four colors; blue, orange, red and purple.
