About the design
Aladdinlampen (Aladdin light) Type 1001 is produced by Danish Vitrika in the 1960s.
A gorgeous pair of square shaped sconces, each with six thick champagne colored pressed glass pieces, placed two-and-two together and held in placed by four brass pieces. The glass pieces are decorated with a flower-like ornamentation on the outside and faceted ornamentation on the inside – for optimal scattering of the light.
The bulb mount is part of the wall mounting and when the glass shade is placed on the mounting, the bulb is located in the center of the lamp. This gives way for a softly emitted illumination with a golden ambiance all-round the sconces.
